This 2 week Scandinavian-inspired winter event was created by Helen Russell Brown and Raf Bogan. Appearing for two consecutive years at the Art Hostel, Leeds, Arctic Bazaar was an inclusive and authentic respite promoting togetherness during the hectic festive season, and providing a platform for local artists. Offering an arts market, specially curated hot chocolate bar and cafe, creative workshops, commissioned installations and composition, free arts materials for the general public and a mobile sauna, the project achieved wide media coverage and generated income for over 80 local artists.
